Directions to Lookout Mountain Park: From Denver: I-70 West to the Lookout Mountain exit. Turn North on to the frontage
road, then west on 40 to the first intersection and turn right onto Lookout Mountain
Road. Follow signs to the Buffalo Bill Grave/Museum. The park is located on the left as
you approach the Buffalo Bill site.

In just a few short weeks, SMPTE will host an unprecedented gathering: the International Conference on Stereoscopic 3D for Media and Entertainment on 13- 14 July in New York City’s Time Square.
It is the first and only scientific event focused solely on the critical, next-generation technologies required for widespread and sustained 3D adoption. And it is a perfect example of the relevance of SMPTE as motion-imaging crosses industries and becomes more pervasive.
There have been many 3D events this year covering current technologies. What differentiates this SMPTE event is that it focuses on next-generation research that’s already underway and critical for the long-term success of 3D. More than two dozen papers will be presented over two days covering 3D acquisition, distribution, transmission, and display; you can read their abstracts at www.smpte.org/events/3d_conference/.
